Ladera has long been recognized as one of the world’s best hotels. The prestigious standing was recently reaffirmed when the resort appeared on the annual Gold List in the January issue of Conde Nast Traveler. Gold List hotels are selected by the magazine’s readers, proven to be among the most highly selective, discerning opinion makers around. Ladera received an impressive score of 88.9 out of a possible 100 and is one of only two St Lucian properties on the list.
“Ladera is honoured to be recognized by such a discriminating, well-traveled group. We’re delighted to start the New Year in the impressive company of the other Gold List winners representing the very best in travel experiences,” says Waddy Francis, General Manager. “The recognition coincides with the completion of several upgrades at Ladera, including the opening of Paradise Pavilion, the resort’s impressive new destination wedding venue which will be the setting for the Caribbean’s most coveted betrothals in 2010.”

I would imageine this award is for the view and not for the food ; especially that at the Dashine Restaurant. Leave that chicken liver pattie alone (trust me) your butt will never leave the toilet for days. That jamaican Chef …. ! Where is that good finger licking culinary Yardy Flavor we are known for worldwide.
