Jake’s captivating smile has taken his millions of fans to the even more captivating St Lucia!

Usually it’s honeymooners that are bringing the business to St Lucia resorts.
But recently it’s a single guy that is generating interest in this Caribbean island and its many upscale properties.

Last week, America tuned into “The Bachelor: On the Wings of Love” to watch Jake Pavelka and his final three bachelorettes be whisked away to Saint Lucia for their destination dates. Next week, the romance continues as Pavelka and his two remaining bachelorettes explore more of the island on the season finale of Season 14, a two-hour episode airing Monday, March 1 at 8 pm.

Arc De Ciel, a wonderful five-bedroom resort between the Pitons, is where the final two bachelorettes meet Pavelka’s family. The Pitons, in the south of the island, are the iconic symbol of Saint Lucia and are the most recognizable landmarks in the Caribbean.

Pavelka and Tenley will take a yachting trip on Kingdom Yachts accompanied with a night in a suite at Jalousie Plantation. The Jalousie Plantation is a first-class Caribbean West Indies resort.

Meanwhile, Pavelka and Vienna will explore the Sulphur Springs, which is the world’s only drive in volcano, and it is located towards the southwestern side of the island, near the small fishing port Soufriere.

The couple will end the romantic date by checking into a suite in Anse Chastanet, a 600-acre estate with two beaches. Tropical weather, welcoming accommodations, and unexpected adventures await the couple taking this trip.

Jade Mountain is a luxury resort built on the side of a mountain rising above the 600-acre beachfront resort of Anse Chastanet. With the fourth wall entirely absent, Jade Mountain’s sanctuaries are stage-like settings from which to embrace the full glory of Saint Lucia’s Pitons World Heritage Site, and of course, the Caribbean Sea.

I love how St.Lucia is portrayed in the international media.. The printed ads allude to non-existent local land taxes and ease of land ownership. Beautiful landscapes, lush tropical beaches cordoned off from local access. The natives ever happy to entertain the guests, no concrete infrastructure in sight unless you’re in a hotel. Though, I’m guessing I’m one of the lucky few who gets to play steel pan all day long. A slave cannot convince me that the tourism industry isn’t slavery. Our future in hospitality?! on an island whose bountiful resources can be exhausted in a day?!? Some people call me crazy, but I’ll take it as a compliment if the government is sane.

Everything about the island is amazing..from the people..to the food to the sites all gorgeous!! I hope this brings alot of tourism to the island!! It is truly a hidden gem!!

I love it how some people always complain about tourism, yes, St.lucia should have a thriving agriculture sector, a thriving manufacturing sector, but it doesn’t, it does pretty OK for itself with tourism, it’s stable and there are plentiful opportunities for employment. Until we get going with agriculture and manufacturing (you THINK THOSE industries pay well??lol) lets concentrate on sustainable growth of tourism.
We can look at banking sectors, health care industry, these pay well, but we are so far off the mark with those, to get to those destinations, a path must be carved .
St.Lucia’s main asset is its incredible beauty and wonderful people.

  7. It was absolutely intriguing, not only absorbing the beautiful scenery (like seeing it for the first time perspicaciously), but also analysing the meeting of both girls to the family, it was quite emotional and I think the pitons and the lush tropical vegetation just enhanced everything so magnificently.

I not only speak as a St Lucian but a proud hotelier. We looked amazing on The Bachelor from the outside looking in. This marketing effort was strategised perfectly!! We are truly a household name to viewers of this reality show. The porperties featured and the island as a whole is benefiting tremendously! Thank you to Minister Chastanet for your effort. Soufriere took the prize…hats off!

I enjoyed the glory and beauty of St Lucia. I am proud to be a St Lucian, but do u think the average Joe cared about Jake and his “pay to play lifestyle”. In St Lucia we say our men are cheaters, but then we brought good ole Jake to our shores all in the name of tourism. He was sucking spit as though it was a pina colada and when they closed the doors, dam!! unless he was a enuch what did they do? I mean, I dont give a dam about Jake and I aint no morality police, however; we chastise our men for this behaviour. But I guess when a man is at Jade Mountain or Jalousie its ok to be carried away and “TORN BETWEEN TWO LOVERS” or was it torn between the beautiful PITONS. I wonder if the fellas who park by the cemetery have that problem. Poor Jake in love with two women, didn’t he know he came to THE PLACE where it is the norm to be in love with two women at the same time, we call it wife and jabal. It was nice to see St Lucia in its splendour…but Jake boy u take the cake or was it cakes (as in patty cake) I luv it…St Lucia where we are ha ha happy!!!

How much is it costing St. Lucian taxpayers to host this program? Its’s breathtaking to see the beautiful scenery but wouldn’t it be a good idea to blend in some local folks as well?

    Go Lucians
