Reggae Vybz goes live again!

Radio St Lucia is finalising plans for its second staging of Reggae Vybes Live! After a successful staging of the very popular Friday Night Reggae programme Reggae Vybes on the Derek Walcott Square on August 28th RSL is taking the show to the Vieux Fort Square on Friday October 30th 2009.
The Friday night reggae show from 7-12 midnight which for the past Year has been creating a positive impact on St Lucian society will feature Live performances from St Lucian artistes with conscious reggae soldier Meshach Nestor of Choiseul headlining. Other artistes expected to perform on the evening will be Cold Sweat, Kyatt, Itooba, Aschadan and Gandolph St Clair  from Vieux Fort. Also performing is Empress Wasim.
Eats and drinks will be on sale with the musical action and audience interaction set to start with Marlon Clovis from 4pm. The live broadcast of the show starts from 7pm.
Member of the organising committee for the event Brian “Ras Ipic” Mc  Donald says there have been several calls to take Reggae Vybes Live! around St Lucia and Vieux Fort was one of the first
communities to express an interest in having one of the live events there.
RSL is expecting to get support from Dennery right down to Soufriere for this event and is promising a fun filled evening of reggae music and entertainment.
RSL’s Programmes and Marketing Controller and Reggae Vybes Live! producer, Delia Dolor, said the live
show will bring music to all reggae music lovers.

Soufriere has been earmarked as the venue for the staging of the final Reggae Vybes Live! show for 2009.
