Things do go better with Coke, even more so now that Coca-Cola has introduced a new sugar-free version of the popular beverage called Coca-Cola Zero.

Du Boulay’s Bottling Company is pleased to announce the arrival of Coca-Cola Zero to St Lucia—a new member in the portfolio of the beverage company, which has come to challenge the paradigm that a Coke without sugar does not taste the same.

At a press conference on Wednesday, manager of Du Boulay’s Bottling Company, Dunstan Du Boulay, said that since being introduced, Coca-Cola Zero has been the most outstanding and successful produced by the Coca-Cola Company over the last two decades.

This new sugar-free version is formulated for those consumers loyal to the original taste of Coca-Cola, who enjoy life with an unconventional attitude and care about calorie intake. It’s what consumers would least expect: great taste, with zero sugar. The product is edgy and innovative. In fact, it has been a phenomenal success in the more than 60 markets worldwide in which it has been launched, and St Lucia will undoubtedly be the same.

The new product completes the trilogy and now there is Coke for each consumer: Coca-Cola which is the heart of the business, Diet Coca-Cola for young adults loyal to its taste and life style and now Coca-Cola Zero with the original taste of Coca-Cola, but zero sugar.

Coca-Cola Zero tastes exactly like traditional cola and is available in new contour 500 ml PET bottles, in a distinctive black design at Coca-Cola dealers, at the same price as the Coca-Cola Classic.

Du Boulay pointed out that the company will focus heavily on making the product available everywhere In St Lucia, especially at popular eating spots.

“Sampling is a big part of our campaign because we want everyone to try it,” said Du Boulay. “We’re targeting as many consumers as we can as part of our sampling roll-out.”

The launch of Coca-Cola will be supported by a strong marketing and advertising plan, which includes television, radio, written press and heavy sampling at high traffic areas and hot spots.

All that artificial sweeteners scare me

This is really great news. I am a frequent visitor from Toronto to the island, planning to retire there and it is so nice to know that I will be able to purchase my “soft drink of choice” when I am there. Coca-cola Zero really does have the great taste of regular coca-cola and, as you said, without the sugar. Bravo to you for bringing this to the island.

When any one drinks a Coke or Pepsi or any other soft drinks on the market who the hell really checks the calorie count ? WHO ! ! Especially in the islands . I would like a rum and Coke please but make sure you use Zero Coke ; yeah right. Don’t worry the Coca Cola Company will make a good change down there ; and why you may ask Prattle ? Because you are gullible, and just like the days of Slavery and the discovery by that Visigoth Columbus they have brought to your shores somthing shiny and new to have so cheers to you. HELLO ! ! Shouldn’t you people be working on The Year In Review . Don’t forget to include the Donna Story.

I’m excited to read this as I am visiting St. Lucia in April. I am diabetic, can not drink regular Coke and something in Diet Coke induces vomiting, so I live on Coke Zero!!
