also settle our boundary issues before even thinking about putting the area up for competitive bidding. So if we are looking for people to blame, they are just as responsible as is Kenny Anthony in this matter. In fact they are directly responsible for the RSM case against the government of St Lucia

It's certainly a pleasure to read some interesting legal comments on this subject. Some of us seem held bent on trying to take someone down on this issue instead of being concerned about the consequences of the action by RSM. I asked these questions before the elections and I will again. 1. Will another company start exploration with us still having boundary disputes? 2. Did King know about this agreement and if yes, did he take it to his cabinet? I submit once again that I,m no legal expert, but whether or not Anthony was authorized to sign this agreement the UWP administration had a responsibility to deal with the situation. They needed to find out about the legality of this contract and

i sorta agree with dude above here, but honestly that is not right.. should we just give in to their desires because they're human, n somebody's child, n need respect? as a society, we mandate what is acceptable, and by hinting that we should even consider that lifestyle as normal ultimately makes it ok to consider.. explore.. adopt! should rapist rape? should fathers molest their daughters? should a thief steal? exactly! no where through our society we made it acceptable or considered it as acceptable, so it was and can never be adopted. giving these gays this platform is already letting them know that society accepts their lifestyle. maybe just not as much as they would like. BUT THEN...

I agree, corruption is the survival instinct of humans, and while it comes natural to all of us to take the easy route of crime, we have to be taught about the ramifications. Politicians are driven by a need for power, but the flip side to power is corruption. Even the politician who might appear in public to be a moral and just person is also involved, they just wear a better mask. Now, St. Lucians are exposed to this 24 hours a day, it affects there every moment and as a result they too will evolve towards the dark side oh humanity, it is inevitable because life here is unforgiving if you are poor. Poverty is the biggest crime against humanity, you become a living dead, a mallawahe .

Our societies have gone through many changes and struggles through its development. Slavery, Woman rights and now the right for sexual preferences. Its Just another stage, a few years down the line, LGBT community will be mainstream. I must admit I do have some Homophobia in me, but I don't bash out against anyone because of it. I am afraid for now, such movements will take presidence over others issues, like child abuse, spouse abuse, prostituting our children, rape, and violence, which EQUALLY need attention. I commend the group, their strength and efforts. I wish others would take examples to address other issues in society.

Everyone seems to be mssing the point its not a matter of who was or wasn't a criminal at the time of their death but......when 5 people are murdered at the hands or cops or crooks in one day this is a serious cause for concern. We cannot wash our hands on the matter and say they were guilty and got what they deserved.I for one would love to have all evidence presented so i can then arrive at my own conclusion on this and other matters of excessive force.
