Thirty-year-old Mitchel ‘Bage’ Joseph of Ciceron, Castries was sentenced to death by hanging on Wednesday February 9 by Justice Kenneth Benjamin.
The father of one was convicted on December 6 of the murder of Police Constable Lester Garvin Remy on April 27, 2008.
After the sentence, defense attorney Al Elliot told the STAR of his intentions to appeal the judge’s decision.
