- Bordelais Correctional Facility.
Minutes ago the STAR received news of a fire at the Bordelais Correctional Facility in Dennery. Residents of Dennery reported hearing sirens and seeing smoke. The STAR has confirmed that there was indeed a small fire at the facility that has since been contained. The fire according to authorities was maily “smoke damage in an area where inmates keep their private property.” More on this story as soon as we get more information.
