This week scores of Florence Nightingales visited Saint Lucia for a much heralded conference with their local sisters. The nurses were the special guests of the governor general Dame Pearlette Louisy, pictured welcoming to a special reception at Government House the assistant secretary of the Saint Lucia Nurses Association, Mrs Ketura Charles.
