St. Ange joins Technocrats

The St Lucia National Youth captain and senior National Women’s Cricket Team vice captain Yasmine St Ange, left the island recently to join the Technocrats Sports Club of Trinidad and Tobago.

St Ange who is also a Physical Education Teacher at the Bocage Primary School received a formal invitation from the Technocrats Sports Club of Trinidad, at the conclusion of the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) Inaugural Caribbean T/20 held in Jamaica from July 18-23, 2012.

The young aspiring cricketer who is 20 years old, resides in the community of Monchy, and represents the Gros Islet district in the Women’s Cricket Domestic League.

St Ange has great potential and has absolutely no doubt that this opportunity will greatly improve her sporting prowess and enhance her personal development.

The SLNCA wishes to take the opportunity to thank the Ministry of Youth Development and Sports and the Ministry of Education, Human Resource Development and Labour for making the sporting opportunity a reality.
