The Saint Lucia Air and Sea Ports Authority (SLASPA) recently held the official launch of the 19th Annual Tea Time Jazz. The long-existing fringe event on the calendar of events for the Saint Lucia Jazz & Arts Festival features free performances by local artistes while offering patrons complimentary tea, coffee and light snacks.

The enthusiastic host of the event, Marva Greenidge, Marketing Specialist – Commercial Development at SLASPA, unveiled the lineup for the event which kicks off on Wednesday May 4th with local songbird Aiyah (Mayah Michaela Leonce) along with Michael Robinson. On Thursday May 5th the Digicel Pantime Steel Orchestra will perform a range of melodious hits from varying genres including Soca, Calypso and R & B. For the grande finale, The Derek Yarde Project – “DYP” – will grab the minds, hearts and souls of the TTJ crowd as it witnesses their dynamic and energizing renditions.
