Update on Death of young boy deemed Homicide

After laying motionless at the ICU at Victoria Hospital for almost a week, four year- old Milan Ferdinand died on Friday October 9. A post mortem later revealed that his death was caused by severe brain damage and head injury due to blunt force trauma. The boy had been in the care of his father and stepmother who has since been accused of inflicting his injuries. His death was ruled a homicide.

On Friday, October 16, 2015 police arrested and detained two individuals in connection Milan’s death.
