‘One of Caribbean’s best kept secrets’

Berthia Parle, General Manager of Bay Gardens Resort says Trios is part of a movement to push Caribbean cuisine beyond the stereotypical.

A super experience!”  “This is by far the best meal we have had in Saint Lucia”; “Best kept secret in Rodney Bay Village”; “The scallops in a gentle spicy sauce offered a generous and delicious portion for a main course, while my partner was very happy with the steak in a coffee marinade. This was great food in lovely surroundings at a good price. With an excellent wine list and very welcoming staff, we would definitely recommend it.”
These are remarkable and enviable reviews for any restaurant, but were bestowed on the recently opened Trios Caribbean Fusion Restaurant at Bay Gardens Beach Resort and Spa, Saint Lucia.
Bay Gardens Beach Resort and Spa and its Trios Restaurant was rated in the summer edition of Trip Advisor’s Saint Lucia Travel Guide as one of the island’s  “hidden gems”.   With more than 45 million reviews and opinions, Trip Advisor has become an influential travel planning tool for the 40 million travelers visiting its site each month.  So, for Trios restaurant, this is a significant achievement.
What makes Trios so special? A first of its kind in Rodney Bay Village, Trios Caribbean Fusion Restaurant is Caribbean cuisine redefined.  Blending Caribbean, European and Asian flavours to create an adventure for the palate, Trios represents Bay Gardens and the Caribbean at its best.  Although the Caribbean is widely known for its white sand beaches, salubrious climate, pulsating rhythms, it is less known for its cuisine.  According to Berthia Parle, General Manager of Bay Gardens Resort:  “Trios is part of a movement to push Caribbean cuisine beyond the stereotypical, to show off its richness, diversity and to showcase the enormous talents of a growing cadre of home grown, internationally exposed chefs.”
