10 Impounded Motor Cycles up in Flames at Marigot Police Station. Police suspects Arson

Royal St. Lucia Police Force – On Sunday June 18, 2023 about 3:25 a.m. Officers attached to the Marigot Police Station were alerted to fire in the station parking lot. Upon further investigations Officers observed ten (10) impounded motor cycles were fully engulfed by fire. A shop adjacent to the said parking lot was also partially destroyed by the fire.

The Saint Lucia Fire Service was summoned and an assessment of damages was made. All ten (10) motor cycles were completely destroyed by the fire.

Investigations are ongoing into this incident.

The Royal Saint Lucia Police Force urges anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the nearest police station or Marigot Police Station at 456-3895 or the CRIME Hotline at 555 for anonymous reporting.
