Photos that make us take a second look

Water woes are still very much present and our photographer Bill Mortley found that of as he was driving through the Pierrot community where this woman, along with several other people had come to fill up their many buckets. We wondered though how many trips she would have to make to get it all home.
During last week’s police parade it seemed the one taking orders was a stray dog who caused the normally serious SSU officers to giggle a bit as their commander ordered the dog to keep it moving. The light moment certainly was one of the highlights of the day. (Photo by Bill Mortley)
