4 Arrested after 3AM Police Operation at Babonneau

Royal St. Lucia Police Force – On Wednesday, February 1, 2023, about 3:00 a.m. a joint police operation involving officers attached to the Criminal Investigations Department, Special Services Unit, Gros Islet Special Patrol Team, Bicycle Patrol Unit and Traffic Enforcement Team, was conducted in the communities of Fond Le Grande and Babonneau.  

During the operation, a Warrant to Search for Property was executed on the premises of Dilan Biscette, at Cacao, Babonneau, where three (3) firearms (one air soft rifle and two BB guns), along with eighty (80) canisters and six thousand (6000) pellets were recovered. He was arrested and formally charged for unlawful Possession of Firearm and Ammunition. Biscette was escorted before the First District Court, where he was granted bail in the sum of $5,000.00 cash or suitable surety.

Two twenty (20) year old males of Fond Le Grande were arrested after a search was conducted at a residence, where stolen items (jewelry) were recovered in relation to an armed robbery which occurred on January 27, 2023 in Castries. The individuals remain in custody pending charging.

A third male was arrested for possession of a Controlled Drug and Possession of a Controlled Drug with Intent to Supply, during the execution of a Warrant to Search for Property at a residence in Fond Le Grande, following the discovery of a quantity of controlled drugs.
