					<description><![CDATA[Outrageous!  Considering the dismissive attitude which is pervasive in our country, the Human Services people should have  considered one report to be merely the tip of a larger iceberg.  As such they should have been on the alert.  For goodness sake, we&#039;re talking about an infant who can&#039;t fend for or defend himself.  The initial complaint was followed up by an examination from a medical practitioner who concluded  the situation was &quot;not serious.&quot;  We all now know that this was a fatally flawed assessment.  Where was the follow-up visits after the report and examination?  Evidently people were simply lounging in their air-conditioned offices barely sparing a thought for poor battered Milan hoping that this would simply blow over.  Oh, the department apparently is short on resources to provide the necessary support and protection for the tortured youngsters but not to dish out cat salaries to people who are perfectly content  sitting of their butts doing jack poop.]]></description>
