Gros Islet Community Hosts Christmas Party

The Gros Islet community with the Parliamentary Representative for Gros Islet Miss Emma Hippolyte hosted Christmas activities throughout the district for the elderly and children at the weekend. Activities started off with Christmas parties for children in Grand Riviere, Monchy and Gros Islet on Saturday 19th December held at the primary schools in the different areas. Each child enjoyed a tasty meal. Toys were distributed and gifts were presented to the children who were considered to be the best dancers and best singers. Activities continued on Sunday 20th December with a lunch for the elderly at the Dame Pearlette Primary School. Guests were treated to a delicious meal and were presented wth gifts. The Gros Islet community and the Parliamentary Representative for Gros Islet Miss Emma Hippolyte would like to thank all the sponsors and organizers for their contributions and continued support for these activities. They would also like to extend wishes to all for a very good Christmas.
