Homicide in Cacoa, Babonneau

Saint Lucia recorded its 29th homicide on Saturday December 26, Boxing Day, a national holiday. Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of 23-year-old Jervaughn Coureur alias “Slow Mo” of Cacoa, Babonneau. On the day in question at about 11:17 p.m. police received a report of a shooting at Cacoa, Babonneau. Coureur was later discovered in his dwelling house with apparent multiple gunshot wounds to the body. He was transported to the Victoria Hospital where he was pronounced dead by a medical doctor.
