The Sandals chain seems to yield enormous sway over the years in this country when it comes to certain matters. Pity we may never know as we have no British Government oversight as do Turks. On the rock the PM is King no not by name, by title, and his ministers Lords and Princes of all they survey. Trust me a Leopard never changes its skin no matter where it is transported too. In St Lucia where corruption in politics is like Louis George famously said “Politics is a way of life”, I adapt “corruption in politics is a normal phenomenon on the rock of sages” and it strives because we the people like it so. Will someone start an investigation, maybe an IMPACTS type report on the dealings of certain Resorts with Local politicians who came from rags to riches in a few shorts years of political life here? While at it investigate the Godfather politicians who facilitated it and themselves benefited by fattening their already fat accounts? Please!!! We the People want to know? Fear not politicians we just want to know as we will do nothing about the infelicities and malfeasance as usual. We just want to know so help us please!!!! Inquiring minds want to know who got what, when and how they got it from.
