St. Lucia Find Yello Directory dedicates 2020/21 edition to Health & Wellness—Available Now Island-wide
This year’s St. Lucia Find Yello Directory features the theme of Health & Wellness. Though at the time of conception we certainly had no idea what would occur in 2020, recent events have certainly made us all acutely aware of the importance of taking care of our health. The articles compiled offer insightful guidance in safeguarding our physical, mental and emotional wellbeing.
Our front cover showcases St Lucia’s 2019 Pan American medalists for St Lucia, Albert Reynolds and Levern Spencer, who were scheduled to represent us proudly at the 2020 Tokyo Summer Olympics, however, like so many other things, COVID-19 has delayed those plans. Fortunately, we are able to honour these two talented athletes ourselves. Both of them represent the gifted and diligent spirit of not only all our athletes but of our people.
At Yello, we hope that the original and informative articles in this directory will empower many more St. Lucians to enjoy a long, happy and healthy life. We were privileged to chat with the widely knowledgeable Dr Desmer Destang who, in the article The Marriage of Aesthetics and Medicine, shared her expertise with us about the fascinating world of Aesthetic Medicine—ladies, we’re talking Botox® and fillers. And, because we know some may view ageing with trepidation, in How to Live a Healthy Lifestyle in Your 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s and 60s, we sought to highlight practical steps we can take to ensure maturation is a dignified and enjoyable process.
