Here I am thinking I was a lone wolf who had the same thought about THIS HIT This was not a “random crime” per say, this murder has all the hallmarks of the classic pop and burn. Remember the couple a few years back on Honeymoon Beach ?? Pop and burn by burning you destroy the “forensics”. Classic case again Vybz Kartel murder case burn down the house. They send down “their man” for him, they were watching him and know his routine I bet. ” Oh we doing well” That hotel is in trouble let me not even write anymore, will vex some “proper people” they know who they are.

While this is an atrocious crime that should never have happened, and I feel for the family, I do not quite understand why this murder seems to be getting more attention than the other 400 unsolved on the island and its special connection to the tourist industry???? The murder rate impacts on the tourist industry, this much I understand, but like the 399 before him, Oliver was a St Lucian. There is a sense that his life is deemed more valuable than the ordinary St Lucian, is it because he is white, or rich, or lived in cap estate and played golf with Allen Chastanet? For those opposed to CCTV, I ask the question, would not CCTV in the area narrow down who entered the very gated Cap Estate?

And yes cameras can be hidden.

The death of Mr. Gobat was indeed a very sad incident. I fail to comprehend that no one knows some thing. No man is an island, some where there are people with information. No longer can we as a people point the finger at other nation’s crime figures or lack of security.

There is only one certainty………as per usual no one will be brought to justice for the senseless killing of a dear soul.

400 deaths and not one murderer charged, this is scary. You need to really think about this before coming to St. Lucia again, how is this possible? 400 is such a high number of killings, either the killers are just that good or the crime solving is backwardly useless.
