Another Young Life Lost in a Road Accident

Officers at the Fire Service Headquarters and Babonneau Fire Station responded to a distress call at La Toc in Castries on Tuesday 12 October at approximately 8:15 p.m. Information received stated that a vehicle with two occupants ran off the road and down a precipice.

Emergency personnel found on the scene, the vehicle upright, down a precipice with the driver outside complaining of body pain. He walked to the ambulance where he was treated, fully immobilized and transported to the OKEU Hospital.

The other occupant of the vehicle, identified as 18 year old Owen Emmanuel of Pavee, Castries was found in the passenger seat with no vital signs.
