(Bank of Saint Lucia Limited)- Bank of Saint Lucia Limited (BOSL) in keeping with its commitment to delivering innovative solutions to its customers, announces further enhancements to its convenience banking services.
The Bank has unveiled plans to upgrade its ATM service. Effective October 10, 2020, renovation works will commence at the flagship BOSL Financial Centre building, to facilitate the installation of new smart ATMs at the branch. Customers depositing via these ATMs will no longer require the use of envelopes, with deposits being instantly reflected on their accounts.
The announcement of these enhancements follows the launch of its contactless debit and credit card service, and the addition of a third dual currency ATM to the fleet which gives customers the option of withdrawing funds in Eastern Caribbean (EC) or United States (US) dollars. In the month of October, the bank also rolled out the upgraded Online & Mobile Banking experience with new functionality including peer to peer transfers and the initiation of wire transfers. The Bank is also a pilot institution for the ECCB DCash Digital Currency project.
Deputy Managing Director responsible for Operations, Lyndon Arnold expressed optimism about the Bank’s continued pursuits in improving the customer experience. “In response to the current realities brought about by COVID-19, Bank of Saint Lucia has amplified its efforts in delivering innovative solutions aimed at improving the customer experience both in terms of convenience and safety. As a local financial institution, we are honoured to lead this technological charge, and customers can expect further exciting announcements in this regard, in the months ahead,” Arnold stated.
The Bank expects to continue the upgrade of its ATM service at other BOSL branch locations in 2021. Customers can now look forward to a long awaited and improved ATM service. Renovations at the Financial Centre will commence on October 10th, 2020 and will end in mid-November. During this time, customers are asked to utilize the ATM service in-branch or at other locations near by which include the Blue Coral Mall and Massy Stores Supermarket Waterfront.
