Sure the White House had its very own “Kid President” and some celebrities too — not to mention Michelle Obama for its annual Easter Egg Roll last weekend. But we doubt their kids could match up to ours when it came to having some good Easter fun, particularly the precious little ones the STAR encountered at the Bay Gardens Beach Resorts on Easter Sunday. The occasion was the resort’s annual Easter Bonnet Parade and Egg Hunt, staged in combination with a family day and brunch filled with lots of eats, drinks and goodies. The activity was open to visitors and members of the public alike and children from all over came in to strut their lithe bodies and pose for the cameras, showing off those Easter hats that they helped their parents create. Some children who were visiting could not resist the fun and joined in as well adding a specter of rainbow love to the event.
But what is an Easter Egg hunt and Easter Parade without an Easter Bunny? Well the Resort pulled out all the stops and had their own “live” five foot plus Easter Bunny who brought some chocolates and treats for the kids who were more than happy to pose for pictures with the fluffy hopping one. Sorry for some well-known faces and personalities who attended the event Sunday, and got overshadowed by the bunny.
Of course hard works pays and those creative hats and their bearers were justly rewarded with some wonderful gifts and prizes at the end of it all. Well, as far as who would have stood in as the Michele Obama of the event at the Bay Gardens Beach Resorts — judgment has been reserved as to whether it was Berthia Parle, Resort Manager or Cheryl Gustave recently awarded resort hall of fame inductee!
