A contingent of two boxers and officials are currently in Chile for the AMBC Intercontinental Boxing championships.
The boxers making the trip are British based heavyweight Ryan Charles and light welterweight Lyndell “The Russian” Marcellin. They are accompanied by Cuban Coach Jorge Dominguez Gonsales and Team Manager Joseph “Reds” Perreira.
The team manager said this is a great chance for the two boxers to have an opportunity to show case themselves on a major card, however he expressed his disappointment that two other boxers the local association had earmarked for the trip were unable to travel.
Ryan Charles will compete in the heavyweight division at the AMBC Intercontinental Boxing Championships.
