The following was released today by the Office of the Prime Minister:
The Office of the Prime Minister wishes to inform the public that statements made by Richard Frederick on his talk show “Can I Help You?” on Thursday 05th November 2020, against a senior accounting officer within the Office of the Prime Minister are completely false and highly defamatory.
These erroneous and baseless statements, meant to slander the name of this exemplary public officer, have been a source of immense personal trauma to her and her family.
The Office of the Prime Minister demands an immediate and unequivocal apology and retraction from Richard Frederick and MBC Television for these false accusations.
We take this opportunity to renew our call on Mr. Frederick and MBC Television to cease the recurring practice of spreading false information and mistruths which cause irreparable injury to the personal and professional reputation of individuals.
