Brand manager Tim Fevrier has described the Brydens promotion “wave your expenses and ride into the New Year with joy” as “the best ever.” Gushing with pride, Fevrier stated that the promotion went beyond his expectations and that participation from consumers was “overwhelming.”
The promotion for Brydens Huggies, Kleenex, Kotex, Viva and Scott line of products was launched in November 2013 and formed part of the company’s Christmas promotions last year. To participate, customers purchasing Huggies Wipes, Snug & Dry, Active Sec, Kleenex Wipes Kotex Pads, Liners & Tampons Viva & Scott Paper Towels from supermarket and retail outlets here received a coupon. These coupons guaranteed them a chance of winning the grand prize of monthly payments of all major bills for six months.
On Tuesday January 14, Brydens held the grand draw at its Bois D’Orange operations. After thousands of entries were placed in the lottery barrel the Manager of Ultramart Inc. (one of the participating retail outlets) Mrs Marilyn Lawrence-Henville pulled out the winning coupon revealing the name Juliana Joseph The lucky Vieux Fort resident purchased her products at Super J in Vieux Fort.
The grand prize for Joseph will see her major bills being paid by Brydens for six months. These bills include Electricity bill (max $200 monthly – $1,200 EC), Water bill (max $100 monthly – $600 EC) Cable TV and Internet, LIME or Karib Cable-( max $200 monthly – $1,200 EC ), Cell phone, LIME or Digicel – ($300 EC monthly – total $1800 EC) and Courts – ( $300 EC monthly – total $1,800 EC).
As part of the “wave your expenses and ride into the New Year with joy” grand prize, Juliana Joseph will also receive EC$500 worth of groceries from Super J Supermarkets or GL Foods for six months as well as ($3,000 EC), as part of the grand prize.
The winner has since been contacted and a presentation will be done by Brydens sometime next week to bring the curtains down on another successful promotion.
