About 11:30 p.m. on Monday, October 28, 2013, officers attached to the Babonneau Police Station received a report of a missing person and as a result proceeded to the residence of 54 year old Peter Gajadhar of Ti Chemin, Babonneau.
The officers commenced a search in the immediate area as well as a small wooden structure located to the back of dwelling house belonging to Peter Gajadhar, who was discovered hanging from the ceiling.
Gajadhar was transported to Victoria Hospital where he was pronounced dead. A post mortem examination is scheduled for a later date.
An investigation in the matter continues.
