Castries restaurant destroyed by fire

Police are currently investigating the circumstances of a fire which caused extensive damage to a restaurant on Bridge Street, Castries, known as “Devibe Restaurant” owned by J’Kwon Freeman of Goodlands, Castries.
According to reports, the fire started about 9:30pm, on Sunday August 21 when the Fire Department and police responded. The fire was eventually put under control by fire fighters but not before causing damage to the restaurant in question. The adjacent buildings including RJ Clarke, were partially affected.
The cause of the fire is yet to be determined but an investigation is in progress.
