Chancy Fontenelle, who goes by the stage name “Chancy” releases her new single “Fuego”. Chancy is 24 years, from the community of Babonneau in the beautiful island of Saint Lucia.
The track was written and performed by Chancy, produced by Focus Productions and mixed and mastered by The Air Born Academy, Saint Lucia. The audio track shall be officially released September 3rd., 2021 on various music platforms including Spotify, Amazon Music and Apple Music. A music video for the track shall premier simultaneously with the release of the song. The video shall also premier on Instagram @chanci4evr and on you tube at the channel: chancy fontenelle.
“Fuego” features a combination of English and Spanish as Chancy explored singing in a new language.
Chancy Fontenelle is the daughter of Saint Lucian Calypsonian “Tricky” and Dr Malachia Regis Fontenelle. She has participated in many pageantry events in Saint Lucia and the Caribbean and was crowned Saint Lucia’s National Carnival Queen in 2017 where her performance featured a combination of dancing and singing.
She is a dancer, artistic painter, songwriter, fashion designer, singer and currently, a third-year medical student in Cuba. Chancy aspires to be an ambassador for Saint Lucia and the community of Babonneau to promote Saint Lucia as a cultural, touristic, gastronomic, healthy living, entertainment destination.
