You can clearly prepare for these events, but it takes money. The UK is still being battered by wind and rain with many costal defences failing. However, to build the walls that are needed will cost millions we do not have and I doubt Lucians do either. We all make choices about where we spend money and my vote will go to education and health over defence against relatively rare events.

Hi there fellow Lucians

I don’t live in St.Lucia at present, but I have family there, my mother, 3 sisters and 2 brothers and many many cousins etc.

Why is it that “God” always gets the blame for all the disasters striking our planet with such increasing fequency and ferocity? When we buy a car or any other gadgets we are provided with an owners’ manual, a guide that instructs us how to use it. Yet we as a human race choose to ignore God’s owners’ manual to us, His holy book The Bible. We choose to subscribe to some ridiculous ideas that we evolved from monkeys, from swamps etc, how degrading an idea? When we consider the intricacies of our human bodies, how can we subscribe to…
