Ciceron Man Shot Dead

48-year-old Marius Polidore

Police are currently conducting an investigation into the death of 48-year-old Marius Polidore of Ciceron, Castries, who was shot about 7:00pm on Saturday the 19th of February, 2011, at La Clery, Castries.

According to reports, Polidore was part of a group of men who were hired to demolish a privately owned unoccupied house at La Clery, when a shot was fired in his direction, hitting him in the upper torso, while assisting with the loading of tools on a truck upon completion of the task.

He was later pronounced dead at the Victoria Hospital and a post mortem has been scheduled to be performed shortly. No one has been arrested in connection with this incident.
