Coco Palm entertained the Trinidadian market during the recent Saint Lucia Tourist Board events held on May 22nd at the Movie Town Mall and on May 22nd at the Gulf City Mall in San Fernando. Mr Ernie George, Assistant General Manager attended for the second year and whet the appetite of the Trinidadian trade and consumers.
Mr George noted, “Coco Palm has a special bond with the Trinidadians who are particularly attracted by our very own Trini Chef Richardson’s delicacies who has them eating out of the palm of his hand. Over the years we have worked closely with our agents and tour operators who have become close partners working with our Marketing and Reservations departments to welcome their clients.”
Chef Richardson has identified the top five dishes the Trinis enjoy and noted, “Once our guests arrive, like all Trinis, they want to have a good time. Food has long been a key element in keeping our guests happy and the feedback we have received has proven we have catered to them and it has paid dividends.”
Mrs Claudine Gilbert, Revenue and Reservations Manger has personally invested in this market and said, “We have been fortunate to work with some key players who have entrusted us with their valued guests. It is a testament of the trust they have placed upon us to welcome the young and young at heart who have enjoyed our hospitality.” She went on to say, “We raise the bar each year and are innovative in how we keep them and many of our guests returning time after time. There is no resting on our laurels!”
Lucians continue to celebrate the award-winning locally owned and managed Coco Palm which recently celebrated its fifth consecutive TripAdvisor award with Fun Friday at KoKo Cabana. Along with the SLTB Staycation summer promotions, Coco Rehab caters to our Saint Lucians. Father’s Day on June 21 and the tenth anniversary of Coco Palm are some of the upcoming events.
