It was a thrilling second week of play in the second edition of the St Lucia Volleyball Association Commercial Volleyball League being played at the Beausejour Indoor Facility.
It was a hard hitting affair between Royal St Lucia Police Force and the Ministry of Education. In the final analysis, Daryl Evans and national middle blocker Danye Williams led police to victory in straight sets. The scores were 25-17 and 25-19.
Goddard Group won their game against Consolidated Foods Limited (CFL) 26-24 and 25-13.
Defending champs ECFH also won their game in straight sets over Ministry of Education 25-18, 25-19.
C Beverages had a tough time against Goddard Group before winning two sets to one. C Beverages won the first set 25-18 but Goddard Group came back and prevailed in the second 25-20. In the end C Beverages came out on top winning the third set 16-14.
NSDC also found themselves in a thrilling three setter against WASCO. The encounter showcased hard hitting action from Mustaphar Felicien (NSDC) and Denny Samson (WASCO). NSDC won the first 25-21 but WASCO pulled even winning the second 25-22. NSDC emerged victorious after taking the third set 15-10.
