Today, Health Minister, Moses Jn Baptiste announced changes to COVID-19 protocols effective November 1st until the end of the month. The minister touted that all COVID-19 metrics were down, however, restrictions still needed to be in place. Among the major changes, he noted, week-day curfew would commence at 10:00pm nightly and end a 4:00am the following morning. Weekend lockdown would continue in varied forms depending on the weekend in question.
Social events of 50 persons our less would be allowed for the vaccinated, however, for religious rites, this number would go up to 100. Bars would be allowed to operate only to the vaccinated. Restaurants would allow dine-in only to the vaccinated. Face-to-face school would re-commence for all students of all levels but the Ministry of Education would indicate dates.
