(St. Lucia Mission of Seventh-day Adventists)- The Health Department of the St. Lucia Mission of Seventh-day Adventists has embarked on a NEWSTART in helping persons to achieve a healthy lifestyle. To achieve this goal, the Health Department, spearheaded by Pastor Lucius Philip has introduced a “Created to Move Challenge”.
It takes place on February 7th to the 14th, 2021. Pastor Philip advocates that exercise plays an integral role in getting and staying healthy especially now in this current pandemic. Exercise challenges will be given daily along with diet challenges. On February 14th, there will be a Zoom Exercise Extravaganza to culminate the week of challenges. With the plethora of Non Communicable Diseases (NCDs) affecting St Lucians; Ps Philip believes that everyone should register for this free innovative exercise and diet program.
This Created to Move Challenge is open to any and everyone who is interested in getting healthy in 2021. One can register by visiting the webpage: http://www.stluciaadventist.org or contact the Health Director, Pastor Lucius Philip at 720 6841.
