as we can’t consider the futility of turning on each other for the oppressor who makes us slaves on our own estate while giving us handouts as piece meal to keep us happy. The socialist ideology of giving jobs to retain loyal and then when well established maintaining control at all cost even to the oppression of entire segments of society is alive and well in St. Lucia. Yes Rick animal Farm is a good depiction of what we have evolved to in St. Lucia. But it started long ago under massa compy and is being perfected by slave owner Kenny and his goon squad, Mem bet mem puile.

Honesty, Integrity,unity, all fantasy in St. Lucia. The Unions slept with the Government in opposition and now the Government is giving them their just deserts. True it can’t do the country any good, but who cares? Certainly not Kenny Anthony the greatest deceiver of all times, of whom I have long being convinced does not have one honest bone in him. St. Lucians ,long ago lost their moral compass under JGM Compton and so having no real values to attain to, their collective psych attune to party loyalty, they can’t appreciate the limitations and short sighted-ness of seeing things in red or yellow only. Jimmy Fletcher is an embarassment. Like all true opportunistic liberals he is drawing a salary while sprouting as much nonsense about climate change and global warming to line himself up for another taxpayer funded job with some big international org. A waste of our taxes is Fletcher.

I would expect that the unions are easily split between supporters of both political parties, and middlegrounders…..So why is it that the labour party has hijacked the union movement? Is the labour party not setting some pretty bad precedent for how the government deals with the representatives of workers? Talk about disrespect! Does the union leadership and the labour government not know that political fortunes change on a flip of a coin, and that that coin is pretty close to be flipping. Considering that alot of what the union does is PR, wouldnt it be hard to act differently with a future UWP or St. Lucia Greens Party or the new party that Richard Frederick and Stephenson Kng are…

The Labour Party government seemed to have forgotten that civil servant gripe in March of this year wasn’t about money but respect. Their resolve to continue striking was fueled by the fact that the government had infiltrated the union movement to get some unions to accept the 4% while negotiations were ongoing. It is the same situation that presents itself as government has already decided what course of action it will take to reduce its so called debt and only playing games with the same unions which sided with its 4% that it is ready to take back with 1% interest. That’s why its already in the estimates. So bravo to Mary for the gonards to stan aagainst this two-face prime minister…
