Two thousand, eight hundred and fifteen (2815) students wrote the Common Entrance Examination this year and waited anxiously for the results. On Thursday the results were in and the island burst into celebration as two thousand, six hundred and ninety-five (2695) candidates were assigned to secondary schools. One hundred and twenty candidates were unassigned, meaning their average composite scores do not fall within the range of scores for the secondary school of their choice.
According to the Ministry of Education’s synopsis of the exam results, the scores ranged from 13.33 percent to 95.67 percent with an average mean of 61.73 percent.
