This not immune only to St Lucia, mans coherence with nature has always been a problem. If it’s not the turtle it’s the parrot, dolphins , counch or catching lobsters too early. So whats the soulution to this? Education education education. There should be more public awareness of the protected species in St Lucia. There are lots of international funds and groups who just love to throw money behind such efforts. Even coporations like to throw their weight and names behind such efforts it severs as good PR. So let me do the honors, Kings Estate where our motto is Ital is vital, is pleased to support the protection of the endangered sea turtle.

Those pics at the end though. Quite horrific honestly. Its as if they slaughter the animals for fun, practically all of it is just sitting there lifeless. I mean i don’t eat animals or their by-products but if i did, even so we have to be humane. The animals are in labour, struggling to come ashore (i’ve seen them myself like many persons) and then to just slaughter them… wow. You have to be real desperate or wicked. Sadly i am not too surprised, humans have done worse to their own kind.
