While it is convenient for government to find all the right reasons to show favoritism for accommodating one’s health, I believe that it is gross disrespect and very political. We all are human beings and no one knows who will be next and for a man to have contributed so much to a country and in return was treated like trash speaks volume as to where this country is heading and why this country is the way it is.

Governments were set up to facilitate, provide accommodation for, pave the road for the pursuit of good life for all citizens without favor to any. In addition, it is to make the environment safer for ALL to exist. If we kept to this mantra; we would see why SJC did not have a security detail everywhere that he went and the late Louis George did not expect medical favors from the government which he served and was paid for. According to him, he was not serving for free. Those men seem to have understood why governments were invented…
