Principal of St. Mary’s College, Don Howell has been elected as the new president of the St. Lucia Teachers’ Union. He replaces former president Julian Monrose, a veteran educator who served in the position for about 14 years. The election was originally slated for March but was postponed due to the fallout from the COVID-19 pandemic. Teachers from across the country voted for their new executive yesterday, September 24. The results are as follows:
