After failing to qualify for the finals at the London 2012 Olympics high jumper Levern Spencer seems to be back in the groove of things following two gold medal performances at recent competitions on the European Circuit. On Sunday, St Lucia’s multi Sportswoman of the year and two-time Olympian struck gold at a meet in Buehler Hochsprung Germany clearing a height of 1.90 metres (m). On Tuesday, Spencer again appeared on the podium at the Rovereto Meet in Italy. She cleared 1.86 m to place first. Second place went to Giovanni Demo (Italy) with Iryna Kovalenko (Ukraine) third. Spencer is currently preparing to compete in her final meet for 2012. Levern Spencer has enjoyed success on the European Circuit.
