The lady who was injured in the car crash near Pigeon Island on Sunday remains in hospital. The search for her dog Rosie, who was in the vehicle, continues.
Rosie has been the lady’s constant, faithful companion for nearly ten years. It is true to say that the two of them are best friends. Rosie escaped from the wrecked vehicle and ran away. There was a sighting of her on Sunday but people looking for her every day since then have had no luck in tracking her down. It is believed that she would still be in the Gros Islet or Cap Estate area.
Rosie is a white and tan pit bull but does not have an aggressive nature. She has been spayed. It is possible that someone has found her and taken her into their home.
Please help us reunite Rosie with her owner. There is a reward for her safe return or information leading to her rescue. Anyone with information is asked to contact SLAPS via its Facebook page: SLAPS St Lucia; by email: stluciaanimals@gmail.com or by contacting SLAPS volunteer Mrs. Francois by phone or WhatsApp: 384 9696.
