The Electoral Department have announced that from 9am this morning they began a recount of the votes. Speaking with the STAR this morning Raggie said that this is routine and would not give a clear announcement of the exact figures. The Choiseul seat contested by Lorne Theophilus and Rufus Bousquet is said to still be in contention but until the final votes are tallied by the department we are unable to say for sure. As soon as we get official figures we will post them. Right now the unofficial count stands at 10-7 in favour of the Labour Party.
