Empowering St. Lucian Women Entrepreneurs: SLUDTERA Inc. Relaunches Dream to Reality Business Plan Training Workshop

SLUDTERA Inc., a leading business development and social impact consulting firm, is thrilled to announce the relaunch of the Dream to Reality Business Plan Training (DTRBPT) Workshop for Women. This initiative aims to equip enterprising St. Lucian women with the essential knowledge, networks, and resources needed to launch and scale successful businesses. This builds on the exceptional reputation of its AWE St. Lucia program which trained a total of 111 St. Lucian women between 2020 and 2022.

The Dream to Reality workshop, provided by SLUDTERA Inc., utilizes a hybrid model blending the online platform DreamBuilder, developed in collaboration with Arizona State University’s Thunderbird School of Global Management and global copper mining company Freeport-McMoRan, with in-class mentoring and facilitation. Participants will engage in comprehensive learning modules covering core business skills, followed by in-person discussions led by experienced implementers, local mentors, and SLUDTERA Alumni.

“We are committed to empowering St. Lucian women entrepreneurs by providing them with the necessary tools and support to turn their dreams into reality,” says Mrs. Michelle N. Samuel, CEO of SLUDTERA Inc. “Through DTRBPT, participants will not only gain valuable business insights but also have the opportunity to network with like-minded individuals, participate in pitch competitions, and access resources for sustainable growth.”

DTRBPT offers three levels of learning, each focusing on different stages of business development, from pre-startup to scaling ventures. The workshop is conducted in three cycles throughout the year, with Cycle 2 currently open for applications, running from May 7th to June 27th, 2024.

Interested applicants are invited to complete the application process, which includes a screening interview. Successful candidates will be required to pay a nominal fee to secure their spot in the workshop. Limited scholarships may be available for eligible participants.
