The 2013 national senior female team is currently representing St Lucia at the 2014 NORCECA World Championship Qualification Tournament – Round 2 Group J, in Curacao from May 10-13, 2013.
The 11-member squad flew out of George FL Charles Airport on Friday and will compete against Belize, Antigua and Curacao in round robin competition over the weekend. Sunday evening will showcase the bronze and gold medal matches.
The winner from this round will progress to the third round of qualification and another step closer to the 2014 FIVB World Championships in Italy.
Following their return, the ladies will continue their development as they continue preparations for the 2013 NORCECA Continental Championship in the United States.
The team consists of the following players: Natalie Edward (Captain), Jamilla Lansiquot (Libero), Tramaine Chassang, Latoya Edward, Indira Laurencin, Skye Mondesir, Dania Hamilton, Kerin Neptune, Tyna William, Samantha Mann and Cindy Wilson. The head coach is Florian Combie while the team manager is Jean Morille.
The travelling international referee with the contingent is Terry Faisal.
