Flashback

Last week’s Flashback was not so much of a trip back down memory lane but more of a reminder that the more things change the more they remain the same. This “Wanted” poster of Sylvester Jn Baptiste aka Chaka was put up as police tried to track down the notorious killer who had chopped his wife Mary Ratcliffe to death.

He vanished like magic into thin air much like the picture of him that was supposed to accompany this poster. Maybe that’s the way things are around here. There has been a history of crime samples and evidence vanishing. And now, no trace of the real forensic equipment that is supposed to be at the forensic lab to help fight crimes.
