Football dates rescheduled

A new revised scheduled for the Guinness Street Challenge Small Goals Football competition has been released by tournament organizers.  Three of the qualifying legs of the tournament were put off by rain causing organizers to reschedule and set new dates for the seven remaining qualifying legs of the competition.

The qualifying series resumes May 19 from 4 pm in Vieux Fort. The other qualifying legs are as follows: May 20, Desruisseaux, 3 pm; May 24, Mabouya Vallley, 7 pm; May 25, Micoud, 5 pm; May 26, Millet/Vanard, 5 pm; May 29, Soufriere, 7 pm; May 30, Babonneau, 3 pm.

The grand final is scheduled for June 9 at the Old Hewannorra Air Strip in Vieux Fort, more commonly known as the Cacabef.

The local winners and the winner of the skills challenge will represent St Lucia at the regional finals to be held in St Vincent from June 20-23, 2013.
