The Gros Islet community, with the Parliamentary Representative for Gros Islet Miss Emma Hippolyte, will be hosting Christmas activities throughout the district for the elderly and for children this weekend. The Christmas activities commence today with a Christmas party for the children in Grand Riviere, Monchy and Gros Islet districts. The venues will be the primary schools in the different areas and the event will start at 1.00 p.m. and will include the distribution of toys.
Activities will continue on Sunday 20th December with a lunch for the elderly which will be held at the Dame Pearlette Primary School from 1.00 p.m. The Gros Islet community and the Parliamentary Representative for Gros Islet Miss Emma Hippolyte would like to thank all the sponsors and organizers for their contributions and continued support for these activities.
