The 2014 Guinness Street Challenge small goals football competition goes into high gear this weekend, with four qualifying rounds taking place which will see eight more teams qualifying for the grand finals set for April 27 in Vieux Fort.
The action began Friday night at the Multi-purpose Court in La Ressource, Mabouya Valley.
Saturday evening form 6:00 pm, the challenge moves to the Dennery Multi-purpose Courts with two venues staging qualifiers on Sunday. The Vieux Fort Multi-purpose Courts and The La Clery Multi-purpose Court, will be the venues for the action in the Guinness Street Challenge small goals football competition on Sunday. Action gets underway at 4:00 pm in both Vieux Fort and La Clery.
So far six teams have already booked places in the finals of the competition taking place April 27. The final qualifying leg of the series is set for April 20 at the Soufriere Multi-purpose Courts.
The overall winning team receives EC$4,000 and get a chance to represent St Lucia at the regional finals in Trinidad and Tobago in June.
